Our Projects
Fitzroy Learning Network
Established in 1985, the Fitzroy Learning Network is a registered charity dedicated to assisting refugees, migrants, asylum seekers, and public housing residents. Our funding supports the FLN’s Practical Purposeful Learning program—a two-part initiative addressing the needs of those facing unemployment, migration, or refugee status. Focused on digital literacy and hospitality, the program empowers participants with essential skills, fostering both immediate and sustained personal and professional growth.
Sir David Martin Foundation
For three decades, the Sir David Martin Foundation has aided young Australians facing challenges like substance addiction, homelessness, mental illness, and family breakdown. Supported by the Aspire Foundation, SDMF's 12-week treatment initiative at the Triple Care Farm in the Southern Highlands focuses on education and training, breaking the cycle of disadvantage. The program, which includes the Certificate II in Skills for Work and Vocational Pathways, successfully guided 23 out of 37 students to completion, with 15 advancing in their core units.
Migrant Resource Centre

Windgap Foundation
The Windgap Foundation, dedicated to exceptional care and empowerment for adults with disabilities, tailors support for individual growth. With our assistance, they conducted a seven-week Training-to-Work program, helping individuals with intellectual disabilities gain confidence and skills for workforce integration. Participants overcame challenges, leaving with increased confidence, understanding, and skills in food safety.
Carringbush Adult Education
Carringbush Adult Education, a nonprofit RTO, focuses on language, literacy, numeracy, and employability skills for high-need adult learners, particularly those with migrant backgrounds in Richmond and Collingwood. With Aspire Foundation funding, CAE launched the Pathways to Community Services program, offering tailored support for individuals transitioning to accredited training or employment. The program addressed language barriers and learning difficulties, leaving participants more confident, with many achieving notable successes.
