The HSSO has announced the release of its new resource aimed at employers in the early childhood education and care, health, and human services sector - A guide to VET for human services employers.

The guide contains practical, easy to understand information about the VET system. It also includes advice on how employers looking to utilise training can build more effective relationships with training providers. Because the guide has been informed from the employer perspective, it will also be a useful resource for training organisations who specialise in the sector, to get an understanding of what employers are looking for. The guide provides a selection of best practice case studies with examples of how employers have successfully used VET to build their workforce, and provides useful tools, and other resources for employers.
