Practical Purposeful Learning Program

This two-part program is designed to assist the unemployed, migrants and refugees in the areas of Digital Literacy and Hospitality.

The Digital Literacy course trains students in the use of computers for tasks such as setting up email addresses, through to navigating residency application portals. This includes both group classes and one-on-one mentoring.

The Hospitality course is designed to provide an accessible entry point into the training space while laying the groundwork for further training and increasing job readiness and confidence. Students will complete a barista course and learn about safe work practices and customer interaction. This training course can lead to participants moving into a Certificate II or Certificate III in Hospitality.
